Imagine that day in the pouring rain
He says goodbye it’s not a mistake
To play the part of being your girl
I failed to talk and give you my world

Sat alone just thinking to myself
My heart and I are screaming like hell
So blinded by the fakeness of your tears
All the while I knew what was here

We throw out all of the beginning just to have the end
There was no time for me to be one of your friends
After all of the never giving there was time to let go
To have many others I rather be alone

Closed my eyes and pretended you were here
Going out of my mind clouded with so many fears
I knew I would be this girl from the start
The one who wouldn’t open or share her heart

Writing throughout the days with no sleep
Who’s to tell me now that they know me?
